Seneca High School Makes Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)

I am very proud to announce that Seneca High School was one of 15 schools in the School District of Oconee County to make Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). AYP at the high school level is based on graduation rate and first time HSAP (High School Assessment Program) results taken by sophomores in the spring. Seneca High School's graduation rate increased from 69.3% in 2006 to 74.3% in 2007. Seneca High School had 19 different objectives to meet. In order to make AYP, we must meet all 19. Congratulations to our students and teachers!
